Введение

При лечении поведенческих проблем применяются различные психотропные средства, изменяющие поведение животных (Simpson, Simpson, 1996а,b; Overall, 1997а). Их диапазон широк: от хорошо известных лицензированных лекарственных препаратов до пищевых добавок или веществ типа феромонов, вносимых в окружающую среду. В целом эти средства действуют наиболее эффективно при одновременном осуществлении контроля окружающей среды и модификации поведения (Hart, Cooper, 1996), хотя имеются сообщения об успешном применении некоторых феромонов без сопутствующей поведенческой терапии (Mills, Mills, 2001).
